I'm tired, boss

Tell them to fuck off they signed the agreement time to honor it.
I’m not sure the Rays have the leverage to alter an executed agreement.

There’s a big fucking surprise. I’ve been waiting almost 18 years for St. Pete and Pinellas County to get this done and they’ve finally agreed to. Twice. Either honor your end or sell the team Stu. Enough of this shit.
The Commissioners said last night there’s no more money for the Rays. They are not getting a penny more and all 7 agreed. 2 said the same thing again today. Also, St Pete isn’t putting up more money. The only thing that can happen now is the Rays kill the deal and Stu looses out on the redevelopment money (not likely) or Stu takes on an investor by selling a portion of the team (or all of it) to bridge the gap…or MLB steps in and bridges the gap. All this posturing by the Rays just makes the fans and the people of this area hate him even more. We just went through two massive storms and still are giving him $600 million. He’s crying over a 49 day delay and now wants $100-$200 more million. F him! The fact that he once again is trying to rake the area over the coals is pathetic. We have had 4 stadium pressers, 4 deals, for times they have backed out or had the deal fall apart or had it voted down. We are all sick of this.
Fuck them.
You signed the deal. It’s not the city or county’s fault. The delay in the bonds being voted on didn’t matter because the deal specifically said the money wouldn’t be necessary until next year.
Either sell the team to someone richer or get a loan.
The negotiations in question:
St. Pete/Pinellas: You got the money to pay for everything you agreed on?
Stu/Rays: Well, no, but-
*dial tone*
How many other cities are willing to hand over significantly more money than Pinellas is offering? Salt Lake?
At this point just let this team walk. Stu can fuck off somewhere else and ruin baseball for some other city. The whole thing is just a waste of tax dollars, how about we fix the roads in St Pete instead
