Hi everyone! My husband loves the Celtics and I want to get him tickets for Christmas. There are two areas of the stadium in my price range that I think would be fun seats, but I’m not sure.
The 119 section tickets are more expensive, so I figure they’ll be better. But I didn’t know if sitting behind the goal area would totally suck for visibility. His dad told me he’s never sat behind the backboard so it might be a fun experience for him.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. This newlywed has no basketball game experience so I just want to make sure I’m getting him decent seats.

Sitting behind the backboard can suck but cheering against the opposing team shooting free throw is always fun and great crowd support to the team
I’d go 332. Haven’t sat up there myself, but center court always seems like the best way to see the back and forth action.
My preference is the balcony. You can see everything super well (imo) and it’s a far better experience than being baseline (imo).
332
First option, Center balcony is better than being behind the basket no matter how close you are.
If you’re looking at 119, I’d just do 120 which is behind media but a little cheaper than the other neighboring sections. I’ve sat there a couple of times, not bad.
That’s not the Garden
Try the Gametime app also, been getting my celts tickets there for a while now. Front row top ring is still a great seat.
God if only center balcony tickets were $65 in Boston. I really like those seats, especially if they’re far down the balcony. Great view of the game.
Center balcony has great views
Back row corner. Touching the wall. Only way to go 😤
I have been to that arena but it was quite a bit ago. For basketball I always think the best bang for your buck is if you can be in one of the first rows in either the 300 or 200 section between the free throw lines.
Unless you are sitting court side or close to it behind the basket isn’t very good
Just delete this post
Baseline views all day if you’re up in the balcony
