I saw somewhere that there are “serious” Inquiries for nikola vucevic? Is this true?
Jimmy should get a descending contract while Ware, Pelle, Jovic, & Jaquez are on cheap contracts. It would be ideal if Jimmy could retire in Miami. Whatever you could get for Jimmy in a trade won’t be enough for Herro & Bam to compete for anything. Bam is never going to take that jump, so like we did with Wade… we can at least have “feel good” for Jimmy’s finals NBA years in a Heat jersey
Been saying it for months, Jimmy opts out, renegotiates the contract: something like 3 years 90 million. He stays in Miami, all is well. You cannot pay him 50+ million a year, that can't happen
Start the #YouthMovement
It wouldn't make sense to keep Jimmy. It limits everything you would want to do. Just rip the band aid off and pivot to Herro & Bams timeline. Herro still has time at 24 but Bams going to be already 28 next season and I don't want to waste more of their time.
Trade Jimmy & JRich to the Warriors for Wiggins, Kuminga, Payton, Anderson & a 1st.
Best for both parties involved.
Figure out a way to flip these Warrior players with 2 of Miami's young guys like Jaquez, Jovic & Ware for players like
Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, Jonathan Isaac, Jordan Hawkins, MPJ, Cam Johnson, Lonzo Ball and/or Dayron Sharpe.
Some of these names are not the best but its better than what they have now. They need to do something.
The only way Jimmy goes to the Suns is for Durant, End of story
Can't pay Jimmy the max and still complain about not winning. He's clearly declining (which is normal), so cannot do what he did. 50+ mil is top 75 player ever money…think KD, etc. We need to pick a struggle.
So the conversation is how do we keep jimmy? Not how do we win? Because you can’t do both
Miami need to go ahead and try to win this year get jimmy as much help and go for the chip
Heat should pay him unless Jimmy is already thinking of renegotiating his contract or opting out. Regardless they need to get Terry off the books and free up $20M In cap space.
Id do 120 for 3 yrs that gives him 40mils a year
Sometimes I feel like you guys are Pat's and the Heat's mouthpiece. This episode got me thinking
Kuminga, Wiggins, and a 1st round pick might be the best package we can hope for.
