Craig Morgan just got fired? No more ASU/Cardinals coverage.

6 days before Christmas. What a joke.
Petey too. Honestly surprised Leah has seemingly survived the layoffs.
Unfortunately a lot of companies do their layoffs this time of year. Shame cause Craig is an outstanding reported but the demand just wasn’t there for it I guess. Wish the best for him
This really sucks, his cardinals coverage really got me back into following them more consistently as to just watching the NFL as a whole. ASU football coverage has been great all season too.
Reading a couple articles seems like they basically cutting any shows that aren’t making money.
Real shame since they had to know only football and basketball will really move the needle money wise. Just seems like they are now much more worried about money than the fans.
All City Network is laying off a number of employees across all the affiliates, including PHNX. Jesse Friedman was also let go and he was doing their Diamondbacks coverage.
The thing is, PHNX was cutting back their hockey coverage and only was consistently covering that team from Utah. The PHNX Hockey Poscast was reduced to one show a week after the Coyotes left. Maybe they also saw the viewership numbers way down now that there is no local team. ASU Hockey hasn’t built a large enough following yet. Unless you have enough from Utah watching their UHC shows, who is watching?
Also advertising revenue was likely drying up also because the Coyotes are gone. So they sadly cut staff even for those like Craig who switched over to the Cardinals this season. Just a shame.
I mean, for an insider, he sure did seem to miss the mark on a lot of major things that happened within the past 2ish years before the coyotes left.
