Bateman, who had foot surgery in 2022 and dealt with the effects of it for much of last season, is in the midst of a career-best season and is coming off a two-touchdown game against the New York Giants. He’s second on the team in receiving yards (654) and touchdowns (seven).
It would be a big hit to Baltimore’s passing offense if Bateman can’t play against the Steelers. The Ravens may also not have Nelson Agholor, who hasn’t practiced all week due to a concussion and is questionable. Agholor was working out on a side field, however, and Harbaugh said there is enough time for him to clear concussion protocol and play.
Outside linebacker Odafe Oweh (ankle) was a limited participant for the second straight day and is questionable for Saturday. Guard Daniel Faalele (knee) was limited all week and is also questionable against Pittsburgh.
Running back Justice Hill returned to Thursday’s practice after being out Wednesday due to a personal issue.
Cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (hamstring) did not practice all week and is out against the Steelers. Wide receiver Diontae Johnson was excused from team activities this week and will not play.
