I actually don’t think cramming a 1500 page bill with a lame duck president is a good thing.
Why should the federal government give some of the most valuable real estate in the country to the DC government for free?
Go take a look at r/washingtondc or r/washdc to see how well the city manages ANYTHING and you will understand how bad of an idea that is, beyond the financial loss

The revised spending bill isn’t passing anyways. The votes aren’t there.
Well now the Billionaire owners can pay for their own land and stadium
Fuck that dumbass musk man
Hear me out fellas. If we eat just one billionaire, the rest will fall in line.

Meh, I don’t want or need a new stadium until the team is in the right place, is it fun now? YES!!!
Next years schedule??? We need to hit on FA and the draft!!!
Don’t downvote me, just keeping it calm and collected
Fuck him for 1,000 other reasons also.
Elon’s Tesla brand and SpaceX would not exist without government funding.
Tax payer founded stadium are a well known loss to the local tax payers.
Owners are billionares they can afford it.
Multiple people have pointed out in the twitter thread that it explicitly says in the bill that “federal funding will not be provided for stadium purposes” and then lists things including offices, training facilities, and the likes. And then naturally, numbnuts are replying to those people with “errrr, it says stadium purposes, but that doesn’t mean the stadium” What the *FUCK* do they think stadium purposes means?
We got plenty of billionaires that should pay for this stadium, not our taxes…
As much as I wanted the new stadium, the bill that was to delegate the land ownership transfer also included 60k raises in with congress yall.
Idk about y’all but I really hate these bills that have 50 fucking things wrapped up in one. What is that all about?
Congress wants a raise, it shouldn’t be tied to FEMA help like can we all criticize the ethics of the bill as a whole and not just focus on this one general facet?
Good ol’ President Musk. People thought they voted for Trump and got cucked by the biggest incel nerd to ever snot-bubble rant on Twitter.

We were so fucking close. I can’t believe we’re gonna be stuck in Landover.
That bill was entirely misrepresented by his falsehoods. We have been WAITING to get out of Landover, and we finally had our chance.
Taxpayers were not going to pay any money. And this had nothing to do with money. It was a fucking land transfer.
Josh Harris has to be fucking PISSED.
Having to pay maybe a dollar or two extra for eggs was really a dealbreaker, was it MAGAs?
He just hates people living in the DMV, look at what he’s been saying about federal workers. Fuck this dude.

Hot take here, but I would rather my tax money doesn’t go to a billionaire owner so he can build a 9 figure stadium.
The Commanders bring in +$600 million in revenue every year. If they want a stadium so bad they can pay for it with their own money.
Edit: You all are some of the biggest cucks I’ve ever seen. Cry more.
I asked in the other thread: Didn’t Apartheid Clyde just oppose the bill in general?

Wait what happened?
Did he promise us a new stadium?
