Ab! You’re next up!
kept it competitive, we’re a DAMN good team even without our 3 best players. gonna be scary af when we’re healthy
SGA is the best player I’ve seen us play this season. Cole’s gotta go.
Rest Suggs. Give the keys to Black until Paolo gets back. We’ve gotten incredibly unlucky with injuries. Guys are getting reps that really shouldn’t. Sucks now but good in the long run. We are a deep team
Proud of the way this team fought. AB has looked like everything we hoped him to be. Hopefully Jalen’s injury isn’t too serious and he’ll be good to go soon
Loved the fight the guys showed tonight. We’re outgunned, but we fought. It’s all you can ask for in our position.
At this point call up McClung and give him some burn
Not mad at the effort at all tbh
Gonna be a lot of moral victories until our guys our back but it is what it is
What do we do 😵
Good try down 3 starters, just gotta eradicate the 4-5 minute lapses and we should be good
in AB we trust
Love to see a good AB game. Losses suck but they are expected during this stretch without our best players and against good teams. Hopefully they can eek out a win or two during this stretch.
This is such an amazing team man. Still no Franz or Paolo and we fought back from a 23 point hole after dog was benched.
Can the injury run please end soon?🙏
I’m very pleased the team didn’t embarrass themselves on national tv again. It just sucks that more people can’t watch the Magic at full strength now that they got more national tv schedules this season.
Cole I love you but you need to get traded to Brooklyn.
Cole this, KCP that — when are we going to talk about how much of a non-factor Jonathan Isaac has been?
We need a lesson on old school, low post basketball. I’m not sure how many times I saw Wendell and Moe 20 ft from the basket with a guard on them. We gotta take advantage of that by putting them in the low post and getting a good entry pass from the wing. Cole had at least 3 turnovers tonight on terrible entry passes to the post.
AB should be getting major 6th man minutes the rest of the way. No need to play Cole or Jett if AB can play alongside Jalen or KCP. A 3 man guard rotation is common.
Also, I’m having a revaluation that JI is just past his peak already. He’s spent so much time out of the league basically that he doesn’t have the instincts he used to and the whole league is athletic.. so he doesn’t really have much impact. Should be out of the rotation when Paolo is back.
At full strength, the rotation should be Jalen, KCP, Franz, Paolo, Goga, AB, TDS, Wendell, Mo
Not much in terms of negative impact other than missing 3s, but that’s the whole roster
I feel like even T Queen would be making better use of Cole’s minutes right now
We need to make a trade immediately to save the season or it’s over
Goga is awesome when he remembers he’s allowed to move
JI seems weirdly lost on defense right now
Great effort, not mad at the game, but I think I’m ready to say I’m officially out on Jett. I can be convinced that last year was all part of the plan, but there’s no way this level of performance in year 2 is what Weltman expected when he took him at 11. Other teams have plenty of shooters and it doesn’t take this level of growing pains to get them there.
The year the magic are actually really good we get an injury bug.
Man please get healthy. Just one NBA championship in my lifetime isn’t asking too much.
Love Cole man he has been one of my favorite players on this team and has made such a huge impact on our rise but he shouldnt make any meaningful minutes this season
X/Twitter is so funny saw people be like “Mose puts Jett in the worst positions why is he guarding SGA/Harden/etc” not realizing their favorite player is getting relentlessly switched on and targeted because he can’t play defense.
I want Jett to be really good for us. But there’s a reason almost every young guy on this team has developed in their first season or two except him. If he needs 20 excuses to why he doesn’t do much out there, maybe, just maybe.. he isn’t that good yet.
It’s not even an overreaction anymore; Cole Anthony needs to never see the floor as an Orlando Magic ever again. What an amazing display of the largest regression of a player I’ve seen in a long time.
Get Jett to increase his confidence in scoring the ball and keep it moving.
Didn’t see the game.
What happened to Suggs? Is he injured?
AB is that dude. Cole has to go. Take any good shooter we can get.
Petition for AB to start until Paolo and/or Franz are back.
Whether he has games like tonight or bad ones, dude needs the reps with the starters.
“Anthony was determined to shoot it himself and took a bad shot” was a line from today’s commentary but can probably be applied at least once in most games Cole’s played in the last 18 months.
I hope, for his sake, that he can find a new team asap because he seems like a nice person. The longer he stays here the worse people will remember him.
I like Cole as a person, I’d chill and play Pokémon with him. But regardless of being a good teammate and locker room presence, he shouldn’t get any more minutes. Four turnovers in limited minutes is terrible.
Shout out Tristan and AB. I can’t wait to see what we look like with Paolo, Franz and Jalen healthy, plus AB, Tristan and Moe destroying other teams’second units
Jett Howard is not a Weltman player at all, I want to know what the logic was behind drafting him. It’s like he caved to the “we need shooting” demands by getting the most one dimensional player he could find. Forget Gradey Dick, Keyonte George would have been a perfect project player at #11.
AB is a stud, though. The only thing I’ll add is that I still don’t think he’s a point guard. He’s a ball handling wing.
Couldn’t be more proud of the boys.
They all have every reason to drop their heads and want us (and those outside the organization) to feel sorry for them but they are doing the opposite, keeping their heads held high and ballin to the best of their ability, which is still somewhat competitive against the better opposition.
The guys that are still out there on the floor are building resilience, both individually and as a team. The L’s are hard for everyone involved but we learn from them.
I’m sure it’s super tough for our injured guys sitting there helpless but it’s only going to ingnite the fire for them even more when they each get back into the lineup.
We are proving what fantastic culture and roster development we have been able to achieve to date.
When at full health we going to be beating the best most nights. We probably only a few small tweaks, health of our core and a little bit of time (settling lineups) away from contending for ships…
Surely as fans of Orlando we have developed patience (lol) i have no doubt at all that our patience will be rewarded💙
We’re getting rocked hard now. Later in the season, hoping for a strong bounce back off injuries. And right now, the depth can develop and try and get wins in games like this
Trade for Vuch…Keep Goga as a 25mpg starter and have Vuch be 6th man…Bench ( Black/?/Isaac/Moe/Vuch…wcj starts until PB comes back
