  3. The Jets are consistently bad. It makes sense to look for common threads. My thing was always if you are going to blame WJ then point to specific actions or failures to act that cause the Jets to be bad. The NYT article starts to answer that question. No reporter has to have a grudge or be unethically seeking headlines to find bad things to say about the Jets. You can say “it doesn’t matter,” but don’t give WJ a pass by blaming coaches or reporters or GMs. There are too many who have had success before and after the Jets. We will be better next year because we can’t be much worse
