I haven’t followed Bellinger as much since he left LA but I can’t see him not playing CF. In Game 5 when Teo hit the long fly ball to CF. I wonder if Bellinger makes that play because Judge clearly was not going to. Be better on Judge body too probably to remove him from CF.
Where will he play then? LF? Makes no sense.
He’ll be your best OFer. He HAS to play CF.
I hope they didn’t bring Belli out there for him to be their plan at 1B. He needs to be at CF and move Judge to RF.

I mean… he’s objectively the better Center Fielder?
This is both posturing for the rest of the market and leaving options open. He’s probably going to play CF or LF, but staying publicly that they still need a 1B definitely doesn’t help negotiations with FA 1B.
They can now act as if they have a 1B on the roster when negotiating with players and teams
