They did everything they could. Threw the kitchen sink at them. The blue jackets should be buying the refs and their goalie a steak dinner after the game. Frustrating but they had a valiant effort.
Lackadaisical play at the end there from Hughes. Maybe he was too exhausted but this isn’t the first time he’s turned the puck over just like that in the same manner, nearly the same spot on the ice. Great player but he needs to work on that.
