Compensation For the Justin Fields Trade Has Officially Been Decided

Good news, we get a 6th instead of a 4th!
What if Fields returns and they have a 100-play drive? Betcha didn’t think of that huh
Chef Poles cooking up another L
So we got a 6th for Fields and gave up a 5th for Ryan Bates? Cool cool.
He’s overpaid for every trade when acquiring a player and gotten terrible value back when trading away, not counting the Moore trade.
Because, like every other Chicago franchise, this front office hasn’t discovered how to properly trade a player and get value. When you tell everybody that you intend to trade someone it, say it with me, lowers their trade value, yes.
Should have publicly supported Justin. Talked about how excited you were for him. How it gave you the opportunity to sit the rookie qb for a year. Make teams think they have to actually pay for him.
I cant wait to see which back up lineman from Cleveland we get for that pick
At least Poles did right by Fields rather than what was right for the Bears. All those impact free agents he signs will see that as a reason to come to Chicago, right?
How are you all feeling about poles taking less so Justin can be happy now? The Steelers have another shot at the post season, in large part because they paid nothing for a good back up, and the bears have as many holes on the roster as ever.
The biggest winner of this whole things was Justin Fields. He escaped Chicago and the fans still largely love him and went to be coached by freaking Tomlin as back up to Russ Wilson. He’s also in the playoffs and clearly loved in his locker room. Good for him.
So we draft an injured player from nowhere university in R6 instead of R4 🤷♂️
losing at everything
We live perpetually in clown world.
No shit
Cant wait to see all the free agents that come flooding in because of our reputation of doing good by players we trade.
Sam Howell + 4th (2024) + 6th (2024) for 3rd (2024) + 5th (2024]
Desmond Riddler for Rondale Moore
Mac Jones for 6th (2024)
Zach Wilson for 7th (2024)
Justin Fields for 6th (2025)
#H1M
Now watch the Steelers trade Justin away for a 3rd.
Better than nothing. Guess Minnesota knew what they were doing when they signed Darnold
Anchoring the NFC North!!!
another masterclass from king poles
That’s what he is worth!
Get making a player happy & taking their opinions into account but at end of day GMs job is to the benefit of the team. This trade was handled so bad from start
Hope he sees success starting for them in the future.
Im not going to try and theorise about his tenure, or say I wish we kept him. After this season, im convinced he wasn’t the problem.
Caleb with an arguably better support system around him with the same offensive line had a worse season than fields did last year
Matt Eberflus is a terrorist. I cannot wait to move past this current coaching regime.
Fire Poles
So actually it’s been unofficially decided
Damn I’m sure we would have drafted a solid long term starter with that 4th like we did with…uh, yeah
If the Chicago bears keep Ryan Poles for the next draft ? He’s picking his next left tackle with that 6 round pick
I don’t know if we can keep bashing them . Very good start 4-2 but this issue starts with one thing offensive line is not good .
