I legitimately feel bad for Sabres fans. It’s just sad.
Game really was never close. Murray was not great at all but I’m not lighting him on fire. First game in the NHL in so long.
Also, I love the little temple taps and hurry hugs hockey players give goalies after a win! See you tomorrow!
MURR DAWG, THIS IS FOR YOUUUUU
That game got closer than it needed to be.
My favorite empty net goal merchant 😍😍
6 goals from 6 different players? Sounds like some depth to me
I like it when Toronto wins.
This is very boomer of me, but honestly I’m getting more boomer per
The day. I just love how much the boys are
Sticking up for each other.
And the fact we don’t play down to our competition (at least so far 🙏) has a lot to do that with the identity that berube
created. I truly believe for the first time ever the core is sticking up for each other fucking love it, man.
Not a bad win considering what Murray’s gone through to get back here.
another Willy ENG

Third line fucks so hard.
Willy just padding those stats with all them empty netters
Murray wasnt very good but getting the W might help him build some confidence.
Nylanderthals stand up
3rd line keeps cooking 🔥🔥
If this third line can keep scoring 2+ goals a game I would like that.
Fuckin’ Sportsnet… Right after the Leafs win, the panel: “We’ll get right to the missed calls for Buffalo!”.
You never hear these goons talk about missed calls against the Leafs.
Fuck that was rough to watch live.
My cousin is a Sabres fan and we lost our grandfather on Tuesday & I was hoping this would make him feel better.
But that was 60 minutes of hockey played by a Sabres team that has something wrong deep down

Old Leafs lost this trap game every day of the week. New Leafs win. That’s all I’m gonna take away from this game.
Fucking cats just beat the blues
Like we just can’t get any help le sigh
It’s real nice being on the other side of Pacioretty scoring on Reimer.
I almost feel bad for the Sabres. There are so many Leafs fans in the stands that it’s practically a home game.
The fact that Matt Murray is playing in the NHL and managed to get a W is a bit of a miracle. The man has gone through so much physically and mentally. I’m so happy for him!
McMann – Domi – Robertson line is en fuego!!
amulets for everyone, should be standard issue now
We have the second best win percentage in the eastern conference. The only reason the keefe devils are on top is they have played a bunch more games
JT has been amazing this year
I really respect Murray for his determination, but I also already miss Stolarz
If you know the history of the Maple Leafs, you know a road victory in Buffalo on a Friday night (no matter how they or we are doing) is as rare as a sighting of Bigfoot

And just like that, secondary scoring and depth production concerns seem to be a thing of the past. Fucking love that 3rd line.
Should have had Reaves in the lineup tonight.
Sabres have little to lose. They hacked and chopped and hit AM all night. He shouldn’t have to put up with that. Doesn’t help him heal from whatever is affecting him this year.
