  1. This loss gets the Nets closer to the play-ins (another year of continued mediocrity and no top draft pick to show for it) and us closer to the top of the lottery (top of the draft to get us a strong pick for further development of the team)?

Great, we win this season’s actual competition! Fuck Brooklyn!

  2. Let the race to the bottom commence!!

Unfortunately, the Wizards also have a pretty tough 5 game stretch as well

  3. When IQ comes back they really need go think of some ethical tank strategy for real. “They” being our front office. They cant out lose the bottom 3 teams.

  4. As much as I want to improve the odds of adding a talented draft pick, the draft is still a crap shoot. I feel like the top 3 picks should be pretty good, solid NBAers.

  5. With a -5.0 net rating we’re going to start creeping back into the edge of the play-in instead of heading back to the wiz/pels of the league. Unless we rest everyone the 2nd half of the season it looks like the edge of the lottery is where we’ll land.

  6. I feel like we will be around the 4-6 range, we are not out tanking the other bottom 3 teams, even if our next 5 are tough games that doesn’t matter because wizards, jazz, and pelicans ain’t winning either 😂

  7. Anyone else think that perpetual tanking should be punished? In football there’s relegation. I feel like 3 consecutive years of tanking should be rewarded with forfeit of top 10 draft picks until they meet some arbitrary wins amount like 35 or something. Repeated bottoming out should be abolished. The pistons, wizards, and 76ers shouldn’t be allowed to accumulate top draft picks with no repercussions.

  8. highly doubt we are catching washington, and new orleans at this point. Utah is debatable and I think charlotte is going to get ahead of us. we prob end up 5th in tanking odds imo. Idk how a team as shit as the hornets keep getting away with getting top picks. There needs to be some kind of policy in place that limits a team getting a top 5 pick for atleast two years to discourage mindless tanking

  9. Kinda crazy how Presti fumbled the original big 3 in OKC, managed to keep his job, and created arguably an even more impressive team out of its ashes. He legit built that team like he was playing 2K with all the picks he was able to acquire.
