Put Some Respect on This Man’s Name

  1. He is a terrific blocker which I think is completely overlooked by most fans. Him and Ladd both are constantly blocking dudes to the whistle. He is a complete receiver and is perfectly suited to be a #3 on any team.

  2. I give the man his respect, he’s made some big plays which is why it’s frustrating he hasn’t had a bigger year than he has. I think we can all admit we were hoping he’d slot into the WR1 role as a semi combination of skills from both KA and MWill to draw from. Unfortunately without those two taking heat off him we’re seeing his limitations in route running and explosiveness off the line.

Wouldn’t mind seeing him coming back next year as the WR 3 and I’m pulling for him to take it to the next level in the post season

  3. The Press did after-game interviews from the locker room. Only one person was shown interviewing Joshua. That person only asked him to talk about other players’ catches. No mention of Joshua’s spectacular end-zone catch where he gently maneuvered a bobbling ball from the air with one hand, secured it, then did a Charlie Chaplan-like forward lean to keep his feet in bounds.  Masterful and poised.  Joshua was his usual gracious self towards the interviewer and acknowledged his teammates.   Spectacular catch, Joshua.

  4. Tbh, Palmer has always had superb hands and above average route running, but it’s his play speed and inability to consistently separate that holds him back. He’s becoming more savvy with the route tree though, he’s still young. I’m rooting for him to stay and grow with us, great character guy for sure!

  5. I love Palmer. He had a quote about Williams and Allen as they left that went “If I saw further, it was because I stood on the shoulders of giants.”
