Bro Sean Payton can not call plays from the 40-50 yard line
love how they don’t put up his INT but just the tds😂
Denver is going to have to be a new iteration of the 1998 team if they want to have a chance at winning the AFC West down the road.
Bo Nix, he's not top talent. It's not hate. It's just honesty. Nice guy, good teammate, hard worker. As a quarterback, he's a slight upgrade. He's not a franchise changer. He's going to need a lot of help.
Don’t disagree with anything Colin says here. If the Raiders can get a new QB, the division could be as good or better than the NFC North.
2:27 Almost slipped there buddy. You were about to say Russell Wilson. We all know he is one of the best scramblers the league has ever seen. He played for YEARS behind terrible protection and did insanely well under the circumstances. You should remember as you pointed it out at the time. Then you decided to change narrative and do a filthy 180 on Russ to help your friend Sean petty Payton.
Just say it next time. Russ is the example you wanted, although Herbert did well too.
Bo played better. Crazy reffing. Bs unnecessary roughness to give chargers a TD, Justin Herbert facemasked the guy sacking him and they call it on the defense. No call on the 15 on Marvin mims for PI.
Bo Nix is a checkdown merchant.
⚡️Go Bolts!⚡️🦾
💛10💙
"Mahomes like"
Definitely something a liberal would say
Stafford took 13 years to win a playoff game because he is quite good, but not great. Great QBs instantly transform even dumpster fires. Look at Favre in GB or Burrow in Cincy. Both were as bad as DET if not worse when they arrived
Herbert looking like Josh Allen and Mahomes out there
Great to see Herbert paired with a coaching icon in Jim Harbaugh and Bo with Sean Payton… The Coach/QB dynamic is the lifeblood of an organization, everything revolves around it. AFC West is gonna be in beast mode for years. Hope Raiders get Sheduer to add to the mix!!
Justin Herbert is underrated🤷♂️
Herbert has beat bad team, nothing special, team which has winning record only because they played bunch of bad teams. Broncos are 0-5 against AFC teams with winning record and 1-6 against teams with winning record. 8 of their 9 wins came against teams which have losing record and many of them are fighting for better spot at next draft, let not glorify Herbert like he beat no.1 team in NFL, he simply did what he supposed to do, beat less talented team
Herbert was the beneficiary of some really good second-half officiating… He got bailed out, granted Denver‘s D didn’t play very well, that said Denver got jobbed on some calls that bailed the Chargers out of that game. Herbert didn’t play that much better. He’s been in the league for four years and this will be his first year playoff appearance.
And of course Colin will forget them in his top 10 list.
Herbert is so overrated💯 not even on the level as Josh,Lamar,Mahomes,Burrow. He's definitely not top tier or possibly even 2nd tier.
You always said it Colin since day one I'm amazed at our script this year. With Harbaugh amazing couldn't have said it better you and money.⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️ 👏
Nix is good, but not sure he's a franchise guy yet, at least he hopefully will and thats good for us right now
lol where is this energy EVER for Jalen Hurts and the Eagles?
Herbert has balls he's always playing hurti don't think mahomes could do that we all know mahomes is protected by the NFL that's why he never really gets hurt not to mention the refs always cheat for them
It's not just about Bo. The defence needs to step up.
Another Purdy hater, I love Herbert, but what happen with this guy? he is obsessed with Purdy
Can we please stop glorifying mahomes? He's obviously not as good as we all thought. ( He's top 3 for sure ) But everyone thought he was so far ahead of everyone when in reality he just had a few amazing seasons like other great qbs have done. He's shown us that he's Great but he's obviously been benefiting from Andy Reids coaching
Anyone who didn't see the potential greatness in Herbert during that OT season finale shootout loss to the Raiders in Vegas 2022 was NOT paying attention. Could not believe how JH came back down the field multiple times. The thing that's holding these great players back is arrogant egomaniacal coaches. Which is more often the case than not. Watch Payton ruin Nix. Guaranteed.
Harbaugh''s defense is actually a lot different from the one Staley had last year. Sure, big names like Bosa, Mack and Derwin stuck around, but the DL, LB, and secondary saw a drastic makeover. IDLs Sebastien Joseph-Day and Austin Johnson were replaced by Poona Ford and Teair Tart; gone are LBs Kenneth Murray and Eric Kendricks in favor of Daiyan Henley (a carry-over who was underutilized under Staley), Junior Colson , Denzel Perryman and Troy Dye; and the secondary saw a major overhaul with starting CBs Asante Samuel and Michael Davis giving way to a rotation of Tarheeb Still, Cam Hart, Ja'Sir Taylor and Deane Leonard. S Derwin James and Alohi Gilman are holdovers, but Elijah Molden also saw significant playing time (not just in dime packages), bolstered by Tony Jefferson and Marcus Maye. Even Bosa and Mack saw their snap counts reduced by Tuli Tuitulopu and Bud Dupree. This defense is not only better qualitatively overall but also much deeper than the previous one.
Preach Colin, these are the facts I never hear on mainstream media, they treat us Chargers fans like we’re in the crazy house for saying these things!
Justin Herbert has still lost 11 in a row in games decided by 3 points or less. That is really hard to do. Almost impossible to do. He looks good, but as of right now he is like a Carmelo Anthony when he was in the NBA. Nothing matters unless you can win something that matters. I mean, Philip Rivers never won a single memorable game, or even had a memorable play. What has Justin Herbert done? He has no sizzle, stares blankly into space on the sidelines, ever rah rah-ing his other players or motivating them. He's a goof.
It's very difficult to win in the NFL on the road that being said Herbert has played every game on the road just like Philip Rivers more fans for the opposing team than there are charger fans at the games
Colin Cowherd loves him some Herbert
Defense wins championships until the refs get involved.
You keep saying the Chargers D is all the same players as last years. The stars yes but we have probably 1/2 our starters are new….Ford, Tartt, Fulton, Still, Hart, Dye, Perryman. The D was very much reworked by Hortiz…Minter has a completely diff approach which is universal in being easy to sub in 2nd stringers and they have held up well. Herb played on pretty bad OLs and had zero Defense to rely on…look at Burro now that his D is bottom 10 level….they lose a lot. Its no wonder Herb had crazy stats when he was always playing catchup….should be most yards by any qb EVER over Manning, Marino etc after next 2 games. If he had 1 coach and a good OL and system and D from day 1 we might have a lot of playoff wins by now. Year 1 of Harbs on limited offensive talent has already done a full turnaround…wait till next year after Hortiz does his roster work.
Excuse me…Mahomes has best record in NFL with WAY MORE INJURIES…and he won on bad ankle in SUPER BOWL…
Stop glazing mahomes. He has been average at best for 2 years now……
We need Colin to debate EVERY Herbert hater. Most informative, calculated person to really understand & articulate the facts and scenarios about Herberts career.
