Canucks’ GM Patrik Allvin: All the stars need to be better

Leaves Hughes out of this Patrik.
All but one
Yeah but what about OUR team?
No shit.
No doubt some of our guys should be playing better, but our blueline just isn’t good enough. Outside Hughes and Hronek, it’s just a mess and there’s no depth. Myers and Soucy would be #5-6 guys on a cup contender, but we deploy them as top four dmen.
Defense needs to be better
Sherwood gonna be teaching these “stars” how to get up for a game soon. Except Hughes and the Goalies. They always ready like my mouth for beers. 🍻 Beat the Sens tomorrow and go on a winning streak. We due.
Hughes carrying so hard
Holy shit is that line about Mikheyev true? He has scored more then Miller and Petey combined at 5v5?!
“The struggles of the team’s two star centres stand out, especially when [Ilya Mikheyev](https://theprovince.com/tag/ilya-mikheyev/), who the Canucks dumped on the Chicago Blackhawks over the summer, has scored as many five-on-five goals this season as Miller and Pettersson combined.”
I’m still just grateful we actually have a team good enough to worry about, players good enough to criticize, as well as a front office and coaching staff good enough to do something about it.
