  1. theres people in this fanbase who have convinced himself Bam isnt playing good defense and it blows my mind. I dont know what some of you are watching

  2. This team’s defense is shit without Bam and this team’s offense is shit without Tyler.

    We are fucked.

  3. And for some reason this fanbase wants to trade him. This entire team will fall apart without him.

  4. Yeah, i witnessed it. The Jovic at started nice, playing pretty uptemp basketball, then it went south quick. Bam is an anchor but he’s anemic offensively and was turning the ball too much for my liking

  5. We can’t rely on Kevin love to be a good backup for this team. Riley has poorly constructed us the last few years to lead to this point. Too much blame has fallen on butler, herro and bam there last few years. Blame Riley for not building the blocks around them

  6. Where was Kevin Love in the second half? I saw Jovic at the four WITH Hartenstein in and we couldn’t punish them with small ball. It was the worst NBA lineup I’ve ever seen. Jovic at the five with Highsmith at the four is unplayable.

  7. I’ll give credit where credit is due:

This team isn’t struggling because of Bam. Bam isn’t the problem per se. It’s the roster construction around Bam that is the problem. This team doesn’t work. Bam isn’t bad on offense, but he just can’t be a focal point. He can help move the ball around, and I’m sure if you paired Bam with an actual 5 like say someone like KAT, a healthy Embiid etc, Bam’s offense would also look better. I see in Bam this year what I saw in Herro last year, he’s being asked to play a tole he can’t play.

This team is just all around poorly constructed and makes no sense. You can’t have THAT many one dimensional players and expect things to work out.

As people have said: if a player like Highsmith is your starter instead of an aggressive dog giving you energy off the bench, you know your team is struggling.
