Was this the giveaway poster at the end of the season? If so, whoops… πŸ˜¬πŸ˜•

  1. They gave out Victor Martinez bobbleheads after he was traded. They gave out Franmil bobbleheads after he was DFA’d. They gave out Triston bobbleheads after he was sent to AAA.

  2. I’d assume the business side and the baseball side don’t usually talk regularly.

  3. They don’t give af who is on the giveaway schedule. Chances are they have zero clue who is on there

  4. At least we’re not in Seattle for opening day. 10:00 PM start times a few years in a row sucked

  5. One of these days we will have a home opener on the first day of the official baseball season.

Instead of two weeks after. I swear we’ve been on the road the last few years. But least we’re not on the West Coast to start.

  6. I know they do this in response to that four game series over 15 years ago that was canceled because it snowed so much in April in Cleveland. But damn do they front load our schedule with a lot of away games in early April.

  7. They’ve been doing these posters since 2014 I believe (minus the 2021 season, since there were no fans in 2020, so no giveaway posters). I am pretty sure this is the first time they’ve included a player on the poster who didn’t play for us when Opening Day came around. So their track record has been remarkably good for a decade…until now.

  8. Playing at Tampa outside at Steinbrenner in September is way better than the normal visit to the Trop in July or August, so that’s a plus
