  1. Thanks guys. I don’t always agree with Perk but, damn, is his reasoning for keeping Grier (and McDaniel) sound. Again, Alain, sending love to you and the fam.

  2. Sorry Alain for your loss I literally just my Mom a month and half ago. Much love to you and your family. I’ve been a loyal reader for years and listener of yours since the tank season when I accidentally found you and Omar on a certain post game podcast. Thank you and I my heart goes out to you.

  3. Condolences Poup. Had a few losses in the family this year myself. Never easy

33:16 That ceiling is lower then the one in the barbie play house my daughter is getting for Christmas this year hahaha

  4. That play Tua T was stripped 🏈 .., the play was a double out route to the left .. both wr’s was open.. Tua cocked back but didn’t pull the trigger … proceeds to scramble then got stripped .. CONTEXT

  5. You don't get it, Poup. Intelligent (or semi intelligent) Dolphins' fans want change. The most likely outcome from these final three games to urge Ross to make (big) change(s) is for the team to lose out. It's the first time in 43 very difficult years that I'll be routing from afar for the team to lose-out. I've seen more than enough of McDaniel's vision and Grier's roster construction. Bring in Vrabel and Weidl to reset and toughen up that franchise. It would give us hope and excitement, at the very least.

  6. Alain, I am typing this on my Mom's birthday, she will celebrate in Heaven. Find comfort in your happy memories. Grier must go, he will never take care of the trenches. Way overpays for guys he shouldn't & let's young talent walk. Dan Lanning? Chris Shula?

  7. Poup: totally agree with you about the premature contracts. I said it at the time. It was irresponsible, and good teams don't do that. I'll take you one further. The trades for Tyreek, Chubb, and Ramsey were incredibly overzealous (is that the right term?). Talented players, no question. But when you have to give up draft capital to acquire those players , the depth of the team is inevitably diminished. Further, you're left with very few assets in the pipeline to develop, and you've now paid twice to acquire a single player (ie, with draft picks and then with dollars). The team's just been really poorly managed. Worse, perhaps, a sinister mind might suggest that some of the more recent extensions were part of a job preserving agenda, rather than for the health of the franchise. Ross might see the larger group as a single entity and thus give them more time, which is a far less consuming ordeal than a reset with a new gm and coach and a bunch of bad contracts. He's a manipulative fellow.
Now… don't even get me started on McDaniel 😉

  8. Poup you’ve been a daily part of my life at work for over a year now. Sorry to hear about your mother, sending vibes your way brother. You are incredibly informative with what you do, lot of appreciation for ya brother.
