2. The flames have played 9 games since this speech and have gone 3-3-3 since.

   I’m not saying Andersson isn’t a good leader, but I’ve been on teams with leaders who sound great but can’t walk and the walk. And the result is that there’s no response from the room.

   Andersson and Kadri specifically have had some great offensive moments this season but when you consider the number of gaffs that lead to goals against (often in OT), they (at best) even out. Nobody in that room (or our fanbase) forgets that.

   The Flames are destined to lose their best first round pic to Montreal if they don’t quickly try and get everything they can for these types of players and commit to a quicker rebuild.

   If they were comfortably in a playoff spot I would be singing a different tune but we seem perfectly destined to finish just out of a playoff spot and outside of the bottom 10, meaning we’ll be drafting around 25th with either Florida’s or New Jersey’s 1st. Literally a nightmare scenario for our future
