We are currently probably the worst franchise in football. At the very least we’re bottom 3 or so, which at that point to me it’s not worth debating whether we are literally 32nd or 30th.
Hopefully Bryce continues to develop and we find a path out of this. But for anyone not watching this team through a fandom lens tuned to look for positivities and handwave negatives, we have a good argument for worst team in the league.
Stephen A was lucky to be the sports beat writer in Philadelphia when Iverson was there. His articles gained attention more because of who he covered than him. Although his very controversial opinions helped gain him attention too. The combination of those two factors. As a sports “analyst” being controversial gains you more attention than being right. Everything you said is one extreme or another.
In what universe are we a worse franchise than the Giants, Raiders or Jaguars
The national media doesn’t watch the games. If you don’t watch the games, you shouldn’t be taken seriously. Panthers aren’t even a bottom 5 franchise, and frankly there are 10+ teams who the panthers wouldn’t trade their position with. jags, titans, jets, giants, raiders, patriots, browns, saints all easily worse right now
