Statement from Josh Harris

  1. This Josh Harris guy seems to be pretty good at this. Helps when people don’t think you’re the anti-christ.

  2. I just cannot believe it. Like, I think I’m still in denial that Snyder even sold the team.

Let’s count all the boxes that have been checked:

    – New owner
    – Great GM
    – Solid coach
    – Franchise QB
    – RFK Stadium site in District control

IN ONE YEAR!!!!!!! Am I dreaming???

  3. I would love to know how the hell they managed to get the US senate to unanimously agree on something?! And so quickly?

  4. Can everyone still chant “FUCK YOU E-LON” clap clap clap-clap-clap at the next game??!?

  5. > all potential future locations for the home can be fairly considered

Is DC going to be able to compete with MD and VA when it comes to public money offered to the team?

  6. Honestly this is like the bare minimum but since we have had the anti-Christ for 25 years Harris looks like the greatest thing since sliced bread

  7. Step 1 complete.

1 thing I do know from my grandmother’s house still being in that area is that A LOT of residents do not want the stadium there. They are going to fight hard to stop the team from getting control of the land. Josh Harris is going to have to make it worth their while.

  8. I just wonder what they leveraged to make this happen in the first place. Must have been one hell of an offer that the Senate couldn’t refuse.

  9. I was at 0% this was going to pass Congress. If the Stadium doesn’t come back to DC then Wow!!! Trust me, I know there is resistance with very powerful people in DC in using that land for a stadium, but this has to happen.

  10. Love the language here. Helps keep the price down by making it seem like there’s still competition.
