  1. "finessed" yeah i dont think so. we traded for a pitcher who has a career 4-11 record and a 4.52 era. and a batter who batted .122 with 3 HRs and 12 RBIs.
It seems that mediocrity is accepted, even celebrated in this day and age. not a good trade at all. if this is cashman's "heavy lifting" then i have to dread what other players cashman is going to get, .they could have gotten christian walker but no they couldnt do that. but they would rather get these two players.

  2. Finessed who? This guy has a career era of almost 5. Yes, he has a bunch of Ks but when the bat finds the ball it hurts. A mediocre average relief pitcher. Not a game changer. Meh!

  3. Seems a bit early to call this. While Cashman/Blake have had some success with bullpen reclamation projects, they aren’t 100 percent (de los santos from last year). Plus how did the money work out? Are the Cincinnati reds are taking on the Trevino contract? Or in typically fashion are the Yankees just paying everything for the Reds to get a free catcher?

  4. Come on now, is this a serious video? Trevino had a down year this past season, but he is still much better than these 2 slugs they got for him. To say that the Yanks "finessed" the Reds with this trade is laughable, and I'm a Yankee fan.
