  1. I think maybe Teoscar is waiting to see if Vlad is signed long term by the Jays before he considers or will sign with the Jays. It seems Teoscar does not want to take the Dodgers deferred money scheme contract or he would have been signed by now by the Dodgers. It is unbelievable why more teams do not want to sign Teoscar He is such a good player and especially a good clutch hitter. The Jays were nuts to trade Teoscar in the first place A great player plus best friends with your franchise player Vlad

  2. The problem with Vladdy is that he's a first basemen. The other problem is that you're right in that we kind of have to sign him for the offensive production. Would I rather an outfielder in a trade who can match his numbers like a Tucker or Acuna Jr, etc…Yes, but that isn't going to happen, so lock him up. It's not OUR money they are spending.

  3. So what happens in 3 years when Vlad shows up to ST weighing 350 pounds?
Then hit's .730 OPS with 24 HRS? Can the Jays like the Tigers tell Miguel Cabrera to lose weight? NO!!! Vlad will laugh at the Jays.
Look at Miguel's (who x2 better hitter than Vlad) stats after age 33…
This contact will DESTORY the Blue Jay, not hurt them…DESTORY them when they have to pay fat Vlad for 8 years!

  4. Sign him from $450 to $520 but no higher because he isn't consistent enough but yet he still plays great enough to be an elite player. What he also needs is a group of players that will be around him to help support and protect him before he goes up to bat. As soon as the top brass learns this … this team will not achieve greatness!
