Why was nobody covering this man
Ladd McConkey was WIDE OPEN on literally every target against Denver
His ability to separate is truly incredible, he currently ranks 4th in Win Rate Vs. Man (42.3%)
He’s also a dawg in Contested Catch % ranking 8th in the NFL (60.0%)
On pace for 78 receptions + 1,088 yards btw pic.twitter.com/vIV3RYKXzD

I don’t know why we just don’t have PS2 travel with the WR1.
Dumb question: have we changed our scheme or we are just running the same thing and getting exposed?
Notice how every target was zone coverage… they did an excellent job scheming guys open and finding the holes in the zones. Also bad job communicating and passing receivers off by our LBs and DBs. I’m sure VJ didn’t trust our defense with Moss out, but he didn’t go primarily man-to-man until the 4th quarter AND I saw PS2 finally follow Ladd to the slot. The adjustment was made too late. I know McMillian isn’t the best pure coverage slot guy, but at least give him chances earlier in the game. KAD was holding up fairly well on the other side.
As a UGA grad and Broncos fan, I hate seeing McConkey and Bowers killing it at 2 division rivals
