Penix is a pocket passer, but here’s a friendly reminder that he *can* move when he needs to. Plenty of functional athleticism.

  1. I’m so excited to finally get to watch this guy play a full game. I hope he is our franchise qb that will take us to the promised land.

  2. He actually moved a lot before he got injured. Then he adapted his game to a pocket passer.

Vikings fan here. I was really hoping we’d draft Penix jr.

  3. He ran a 4.5 at his pro day, he’s a freak of nature but has a pass-first mentality always.

In college, he ran mostly a pistol offense, but I hope we can develop him to run some play action bootleg and take the rushing yards when they’re free. He ran some RPO in Indiana and was good at it.

There were arguments about his age hindering his potential upside, but considering he only played 6 games in each of his first 3 seasons as a starter, and considering all of his untapped traits, I hope he can develop even further. Bo Nix and Jayden Daniels are proving the “too much college football hinders pro development” narrative wrong right now so why not Penix?

  4. I’m a UW graduate and have lived in Seattle my whole life and have been a die-hard Falcons fan since I was a kid.

This whole scenario makes my heart sing
