[Post Game Thread] The Portland Trail Blazers (9-19) fall to The San Antonio Spurs (15-13) 94-114

I keep telling myself that I just have to survive watching Chauncey “coach” till the end of the season. Or we pick up his team option and I quit watching basketball and switch to watching paint dry.
Pros: Shaedon Sharpe
Cons: Wemby skullfucked us.

Watching Shaedon was nice 🙂 Watching the rest of the game was not 🙁
Best blazers in the game sit more than half of third quarter. Come in at 25 points back and then sit with 5 mins left. Insane shit
Games like this are why I can’t even judge our players, how do you have blooming star like Shae sit for so long after being so hot.
Chauncey needs to go and start his Jason Kidd coaching arc if he wants to be a Head Coach.

I watch this team cause Shaedon plays. I tune out and have it on mute in the background cause Billups coaches it
If Shae coming back in to a game thats already lost when he was on fire and we needed his scoring doesn’t wake Chauncey up about these garbage rotations he’s beyond help. One of Shae or Ant needs to be playing the first 9+ minutes of each half. I genuinely don’t know how Chauncey came up with the idea of subbing them both out 4-5 minutes into the half but there’s a reason no teams done that EVER. This gotta be a lose the locker room kind of game.
If Chauncey somehow gets brought back this off-season Cronin’s pretty much undone anything good he ever did as GM

I want a new coach
Our strategy for this game was like the previous game vs. Nuggets – attack the opponent’s center.
This time, it was Victor Wembanyama instead of Nikola Jokic.
Horrific coaching tonight.
The only pros:
Shaedon Sharpe and some more ball movement.
Cling got a block, and Shae showed me something.
I guess that is all I can wish for the holidays……
That and hoping Flagg/Harper/Bailey/Jaku/Demin/Tre along with Quinn/Adelman can save us.
Grant and Simons were abysmal
Scoot with 1 assist. Was he making passes & guys missing shots? Or has he just stopped even being productive in the 1 area he seemed decent at?
