Most people associate #24 with Rickey, but a lot of people seem to forget that he wore #35 for half of his time with the A’s. Even though they aren’t in Oakland anymore, the A’s should honor Rickey by retiring both of his numbers like the Lakers did with Kobe. That’s how much he meant to the franchise.

  1. Well, now they’re going to a city that is further removed from #35 edition of Rickey. So I don’t think they’ll do it.

  2. What a terrible year plus to be an OAKLAND A’s fan. I’ll never forgive them for ripping that team away from us. Rest in peace legend

  3. I’m waiting to see how FJF is gonna capitalize off Rickey’s death. It’s been almost 24hours and he hasn’t figured out a way yet, but it’s coming soon

  4. This entire year has been one extended kick in the balls to A’s fans. I’m sure that FJF will try to exploit this to fans, but he had the chance when Rickey was alive
