  1. They wouldn’t have been in that position to kick a free kick FG if Herbert doesn’t throw that terrible interception. It’s not like Harbaugh is a genius for the way things played out. If anything this game just showed me that although these teams are good teams, they’re nowhere close to overtaking the Chiefs yet 😂

  2. More like "What did Sean Payton do to outsmart himself and how did Vance Joseph fail to adjust?" Broncos beat themselves, I'll give some credit to Herbert but this didn't feel like a win. Mistakes by Denver cost them.

  3. They proved they also need the refs to make no calls just the chiefs to win😂. 2 calls 8 yards. We know they left at least a handful on the table if not more

  4. it doesn’t need to be the last play, but for practicality its usually relegated to last ditch situations where it benefits the calling team most. But say you have an entire QB core out with injury and you don’t have faith in your offense and/or want to give them a break, and as long as you have a defense that is dominating the field position battle, you could theoretically kick almost every time they punt.

  5. The free kick rule isn’t that you can try one of there’s no time left…it just never turns out to be worth it unless there’s no time left for the other team to get the ball and if the kick will be so far that it’s more likely that the other team returns it
