1. Add 5-6 sec in the paint
   To force perimeter defenders to guard the 3 cause they know their Rim protector got more time to stand in the paint. So they have too develop the midrange again

I dont understand what the issue is… at the end of the day somebody will come up with a scheme/roster compositiin that will be perfect to defend these drive and kick threes until somebody finds a way to counter that and so on… but players getting more and more skilled at what they do shouldnt be a bad thing??

4. Mazulla is a d*head . The problem isnt more scoring its that every one just comes down the court pass , pass , doesn’t want to blow by or create a shot let me just fire off a 3 rinse and repeat . Barely anyone really tries to get in the paint or anything different shii is boring . Thats why kyrie irving or Ja morant is so electric to watch they actually try to get in there and dance with the ball .

10. The problem is the ref call too many fouls which causes the defenders to lay off and play less physical. Offense isn’t the problem it’s Defense that is the issue. The offensive player has way too much of an advantage. Allow the defender to get more physical or hand check then problem solved. That alone will cut down the 3pt attempts. They allow it in the playoffs a little.

11. Adam Silver took away everything defensively to help prevent high scoring, and competitiveness and is now complaining? Most of this is a result of the rule changes he has implemented as commissioner. Maybe allow tougher contest on shots. Allow tougher defense to be played including hand checking, allow players the ability to show some emotion without getting a tech. My local pickup games at the ymca are more physical and competitive than todays nba

17. keep threes bring back real hand check, physical basketball, maybe give them basic hip pad girdles and rib protecters with mouthpieces. there is literally no defense a foul call for literally everything so many free throws. its not the threes, its the commercial timeouts and freethrows lol. With streaming deals they should be able to cut back on this commercial free throw schemes, we see through it. It makes it more boring to be honest. Also hard to enjoy bread and circuses when the economy is so terrible, the rich don't watch or play basketball, most can't even touch rim lol or make 2 out of 10 layups. Also communities in americas have like died, since dr j days people actually were outside, but cia, fbi, deep state usa, and legal usa redlining, mass incarcerating, offshoring, planting drugs, pimps, and criminals in the black and brown communities to somehow combat communism, creating ghettos after segregation and white flight to then move back in today with blackroack private equity privatization, of black communities once again making us slaves via gentrification, suburbanization, neoliberalism, car dependency, food dependency, etc. we are largely unable to consume because we are in a service based consumer paradox. we are borderline screwed as lower/middle class and this reflects in how much people consume or spend in the economy in general. the rich avoid taxes and the rest of us are expected to show up to these arenas when we all broke lol. the imperial military police state post reagan, bushs, clintons, obamas, bidens and trumps, following the woodrow to carter phase, is ridiculous. we funded ww1, ended the gold standard, funded ww2, installed bretton woods, to nixon doctrine to reagonomics and now we really don't have any dr js or lower playing in the streets even consuming basketball for free. lol a lot has changed since basketball started and a lot has changed post 9/11 tbh. the younger generation can't afford to play games or even watch or go to these games, we are stretched so thin on time between school/work/personal life filtered through dead internet websites, social media, dating apps, and p sites to brainwash people, manufacture consent, and create a sort of handmaids tale/brave new world/1984 dystopian 21st century.

22. It’s not that scoring is up, it’s that defense is down. The average regular season game is like the all star game 20 years ago. Doesn’t help that analytics basically have eliminated the mid range game

29. The mathematics of the three point shot ruined the game. You have to hit 50% of your two point shots to score as many points as hitting only 33% of your threes. Play next season with only two point shots and see if it makes for a better game.😅

It's terrible basketball but dude isn't a coach he's a babysitter who couldn't draw up a play on any level of basketball that he would be told he has a high basketball IQ.

37. shooting 3's isnt the issue. It's the amount they are shooting and missing. going 8-35 is terrible to watch. It's not entertaining. It feels like regular backyard basketball at this point. I personally hate when a team is down by 12 or so with like 6 minutes left in the game so they just start chucking 3's for 4 minutes straight. The game is still winnable, change your strategy adapt to the ebb and flow of the game.
