This doesn't seem all that complicated. Wentz is #2, trust Andy Reid's judgement. I have no concern for him filling in the last 2-3 games. We probably need a #3 in case Mahomes misses time. Also could be useful if ideally we beat the Texans and through some miracle the Patriots beat the Bills then he could be rested for both the remaining games. Hopefully he can at least be rested for the Bronco's game. Easiest option for #3 is to bring in Gabbert. He already has spent time in KC so should be able to get back into things fairly easily. If it were earlier in the season I'd be all about bringing in Tannehill. He could provide some competition and possibly win the #2 spot. This is not the time for that. We just need to be as ready as possible and Gabbert is the easy choice there.
We have Carson we don’t need another quarterback. We need a left tackle and should’ve had one from the get-go people come on. Quit playing down Carson. You’ve done it long enough.
