That was fun
Good to take care of business on a road trip B2B. Those are always hard, and we need every win we can get in the West. Especially since we held a large lead and got a lot more reps for our young guys, particularly Cam and Reed. Good to get revenge for the home opener loss too.
Jabari has been pretty solid these past several games with the defense, spacing, and increased activity on the boards. It was cool to see him be featured more in the offense tonight as well.
Amen has so much potential and looked great in Dillon’ place. Needs to work on the handle still, but you see the playmaking potential. And the 3PT shooting form is much improved even if he still has long to go.
Cam still has a lot to work on, but he looks like far more than a G-Leaguer. Would love to see him get more development as a bench regular.
Reed has started slow, but he doesn’t get much run on a competing team. Hopefully he can figure it out soon.
Also thanks for that last gift, Holiday.
THAT’S FOR GAME 1. Y’ALL MOTHER FUCKERS PUT A HURTIN ON OUR VIBES EARLY, YOU DESERVED THE PAYBACK
SO MUCH RESPECT FOR TATE. DUDE PUT UP WITH ALL THE LOSING AND NOW THAT WE HAVE A TEAM HE’S BASICALLY A SPECTATOR. BUT HE STEPS UP WHEN HIS NUMBER IS CALLED. PRO’S PRO.
AMEN IS SOMETHING SPECIAL, MAN. ABSOLUTE TERROR ON BOTH ENDS. GREAT TO SEE HIM NOT LET UP WITH STARTER’S MINUTES.
WELCOME BACK, FRED
JABARI A FUCKING ROCK. HE’S LIKE A GREAT SESSION DRUMMER. COMES IN AND KEEPS PERFECT TIMING SO EVERYONE CAN DO THEIR THING.
KEEP SHOOTING, SHEP. I’D RATHER YOU GO 0-5 FROM DEEP THAN 1-1. THIS IS HOW YOU LEARN. STAY AGGRESSIVE.
CAM IS NEXT LEVEL. HE’S JUST GOT TO MAKE SOME BETTER DECISIONS. BUT HE MADE MULTIPLE BIG PLAYS ON DEFENSE TONIGHT AND THAT’S GROWTH.
REST EASY, TARI AND DILLON.
WE’RE NOT LOSING AGAIN THIS CALENDAR YEAR
GAMECUBE. NINTENDO.
Holiday must be behind on his gift shopping to get ejected out of nowhere like that lol
Aaron Holiday getting ejected wasn’t on my Bingo card
Amen Thompson tonight
19 PTS
10 REB
3 AST
1 STL
3 BLK
8/16 FG
2/6 3PT
Amen Thompson is the 2nd best player in the 2023 NBA Draft after Wembanyama.

I know we won but man the team we could’ve had if we had just drafted McCain or Castle like I thought was the obvious choice at the time. The team looks good but Reed looks terrible.
Nice game! What caused Holiday to crash out at the end?
We’ve got revenge but that first match still bites me
I think reed will benefit from going to the g league needs to get more reps and find that nba range
Finally Reed started shooting, Cam was awesome, easy win easy life b2b away wins baby
Bari can hoop when he’s set up for success. I’m telling you man, he deserves a lot of isos on the shoulder or short corner. That turn around mid range jumper is chefs kiss. If Ime can find plays for him inside the perimeter and give him the spacing he needs, he will blossom.
So that was a game

you like to see it
I get being angry with the lack of calls at the end of the game but Holiday can’t let the refs work him like that.
Better ball movement, but they have too much offensive talent to be utilizing so little. FVV needs to start playing with Cam and Reed more to teach them, and they need more actual plays for guys in situations. The combinations of green and cam with amen or jabari to support has so much downhill potential, and alpi adds another layer. Cam needs to wait and pass more, but he gives them another real scoring threat besides just Jalen, and because they are different types of scorers they can be used to work off of each other. I hope udoka can actually work to improve his offense.
How cam was left in g league for so long while the one really should be there wasn’?
Holiday for sure felt disrespected by the refs and the three mins he was given. I don’t blame his sentiments
Reed looks so damn bad. Wasn’t he supposed to be a generational shooting talent?
Well, everybody wanted Sheppard to shoot more, there you go
Short, unathletic white dudes may have been able to find a niche back in the 90’s, but not in the modern NBA
Feels good to get to 20 wins with only 9 losses.
bari is a winning basketball player and should not be included in trades. a shooter w his dimensions and defensive instincts is not easy to come by !
does anyone know why Holiday got ejected?
I root for all the young guys in the league to play well, but Reed and the Hornets rookie have been atrocious.
FVV played like he’s been hearing these trade rumours
