  1. Manny Ramirez, Ichiro, Alex Rodriguez are no-brainers. Beltran is damn close, but not quite there, IMO.

  2. CC and Ichiro should get in. Pedroia and Felix will get a second ballot. A lot of the other first timers won’t though I think. Top heavy batch.

  3. Who should be in but won’t and likely never will: ARod, Manny

Who should likely be in: Ichiro, CC, Jones

Who I want to get in for various reasons but likely won’t: Rollins, Zobrist, Vizquel

  4. Fernando Rodney being included on here has to be some sort of “where’s Waldo” joke right?

  5. If I only had 3 votes, I’m going ichiro, CC, and andruw. I think torii would be much higher if he played in a bigger market. Him and andruw are possibly the best defensive cf’ers of the past 40-50 years

  6. Ichiro should not even be on the ballet. Should have received a call on day one and told made the HOF.

  7. My ballot: Ichiro, Beltran, Andruw Jones, Manny*, A-Rod*, Utley, Wagner, CC

**Bud Selig is in so the steroid gatekeeping is nonsense. He only did something after Congress went sniffing around, the worm

  8. Why does everyone hate closers so much? KRod should be in. He has more saves than 5 closers who are already in the Hall. 6th all time in saves. Wtf

  9. Bobby Abreu should be in. Here is why.

2 players have played 13+ consecutive seasons of 150+ games. The other? Willie Mays.

*Gift Ripken, Rose, Rafi (strikes) and Gehrig (rain shortened season)* this as well.

100 BB + 98 Run season +8 seasons? Ruth. Gehrig. Williams. Thome. Thomas. Bonds. and… ABREU.

His OBP is 7 points higher than Tony Gwynn!

He is hurt only by offensive metrics of his time that were conflated due to steroids. He was an auto start OFer for 15+ seasons on championship competing clubs.

  10. Someone with the equivalent of Dustin Pedroia’s career in the nba would have a serous chance of making the HOF. But he won’t even sniff it I don’t think. Personally I like the exclusivity
