Jets’ Scheifele playing with a vengeance after 4 Nations snub

  1. He was asked about it. He didn’t seem even a little bit perturbed.

Scheifele is motivated to have a solid career, make the Jets the best team they can be, and to win the cup.

Now the Olympic team is another matter. I think almost every player wants to be on that squad, and I hope he makes that team.

  2. >“Hey boys,” Scheifele said as he stood near the centre of the Jets’ dressing room with the helmet up high. “Is there anything better than beating the Leafs? Hey? Anything better?”

    >It’s a line that resonates with Winnipegers

Dude I don’t think any Winnipegers would even remember he said it if the media and the Toronto fan base didn’t fucking bring it up constantly.

  3. Definitely deserved a spot but like he said he wants to play good for the Jets but I see an Olympic spot in his future

  4. An engaged, angry Scheifele is a top-10 centre in the league. I don’t think we’ve seen this player since the Jake Evans hit tbh.

  5. He started the season like gang busters, seemed to be dealing with some kind of ailment for a while, and then once he seemed to be able to move past it, started playing like gang busters again. Doesn’t seem like a big mystery as to what (probably) actually happened.

  6. I wish all the jets could have been snubbed honestly, would rather they rest and I could not care less about this mickey mouse tourney

  7. Forgive my ignorance, but is the 4 nations cup actually competitive or is it more like the all Star game where people just skate around and make no contact so they don’t get hurt?
