MLB Agent Clowns Cubs’ ‘Version of Going All-In’ amid Payroll Rumors in Free Agency

I feel like the Cubs are done for free agency, they took their big swing and got Kyle Tucker (in what I expected to be a 1 and done before he walks in next free agency) and they did a salary dump on Belli to the Yankees.
Are they in better shape now than they were last year? Can they compete in a stacked NL? The Dodgers, Mets, and Phillies got better; while the Padres and Braves will surely be competitive.
I am interested to see what else the Cubbies do this offseason. Maybe Shota can convince Roki to give it a shot, but who knows where he ends up.
In their division, they just have to be an average team to win the division and/or make the playoffs.
I don’t see the cubs adding like another more big names this year… smaller names but no more big splashes in my opinion
