  1. There was some awesome home runs last year but for some reason the Vientos walk off vs the Cardinals is my favorite. I wanted him to be on the roster from the start and the team was floundering so it was a needed boost for the team and Vientos.

  2. Merry New night Xmas! Let’s Go Mets, give Pete a Chance & a Good contract! The Polar Bear 🐻‍❄️ has earned it & deserve it! Home Grown Talent makes good! My trust & Faith is on Pete for Pete’s sakes and Mets as well! FantasticoMets69…fan for 5 decades and counting! Go Mets ! ! ! 🎉🎉🎉

  3. That Carl Everett grand slam game was on my 20th birthday… We went out to celebrate while We were losing 6-0 thinking they weren't going to give me a win for a present…came back to check the scores and boy was I wrong🧡💙🎈

  4. I have been a Mets fan since 1962 and have been to many Mets games.Pete Alonso is my alltime favorite Mets player. If the Mets do not resign him I will no longer be a Met fan and will never go to another Met game.

  5. I went to Willie Mays first game as a Met. It was on my 18th birthday and a week after Willie's own May 6 birthday. Willie hit a homer in his second at-bat off lefty fireballer Sudden Sam McDowell. In my upper deck seat in right at Shea, it was easy to track the trajectory of Willie's line drive shot to left with Ralph Kiner on the radio call. It was just amazing to have Willie as a Met celebrate with home run adding to his all-time 660 total. I'd seen Willie play at both the Polo Grounds and Shea as a Giant. In fact, I saw a Giant-Mets game in which the Giant lineup featured three Alou brothers batting in consecutive order, Felipe, Matty and Jesus.
