Is it wild to anyone else that Cam didn’t pass Vick in rushing yards?

  1. Considering how the entire league was out to get him and the refs didn’t protect him how they protect quarterbacks nowadays I’m amazed he can even walk today.

  2. Combined they still don’t have as many rushing touchdowns as Cam. Also neither of them have a receiving TD, Cam does.

  3. Cam was a different kind of rushing QB. He was a third down conversion machine and short yardage guy.

  4. Vick and Jackson are finesse runners. Cam was a monster. Cam was like if Derrick Henry was also a QB

  5. Cam was an angry runner not a shifty chunk yardage guy, hence holding the rushing TD record without the yardage record. If you got Cam on the 5 or less he was going to score and you needed at least two guys to stop him. He wasn’t like Lamar who regularly breaks off for 20yd+ runs.

  6. I didn’t think about this until coming back to it but I’m guessing NFL used AI for this twitter post. Just super lazy just like that holiday coke commercial.

  7. No they were very different runners. Vick had way fewer rushing TDs too. Same with Lamar, he won’t pass Cam in TDs, Cam still has more than 2x his amount (75 to 33)

  8. There were at least two years where they specifically told him to start staying in the pocket a lot more. Sounded dumb back then too.

  9. Cam didn’t have 4.2 speed like those two. Something that I noticed during those years was that every season Cam seemed slower. If you go back watch even during his MVP season in 2015 he wasn’t as fast as he was in 2011 or 2012.

I think the hits degraded his body early on. He was seeking contact as a runner and took a lot of sacks behind a porous o-line. He took more hits than any player in the league ever had they’re first five seasons

  10. Cam had twice the rushing TDs as Vick. Llamar too. Cam is an unreal QB llamar is the next best thing currently but he isn’t cam
