  1. Because of the defense Herbert will get an opportunity to win the game even with lack of playmakers Herbert can throw players open it will be hard this year but with Herbert and Harbaugh it's possible

  2. I’d be shocked if Harbaugh hasn’t had that type of conversation with Herbert. “Hey man this is going to take time and you are going to make mistakes but we are to be a good team and we will be a team to contend soon”

Harbaugh has done this everywhere he’s been and being an ex QB he knows and understands the position very well. We have seen him talk about JJ MCarthy and even have some exchanges on the sidelines with Herbert.
It’s just going to take some time to be that contender

  3. As a Charger's fan I would push back on this it's not hard for them to put up 35 or more points if people actually catch the ball & they are better than people think.

  4. I don't like expensive Coaches building cheap teams. This harbugh staff is giong to have to pony up money to players other than Herbert and it offensive lineman. They're greatbut if you have no one to throw the ball & can't run the ball it's all point less.

  5. Herbert is in a pinto at this point & should be in a phoshe & U get they are going to try to build something but they highest paid Health coach cant keep anyone healthy their hightrst paid player's don't don't score points.

  6. We are going to playoff with house money, nothing to loose. This is not our year ,this makes us the more dangerous team in playoffs. Why not win it all. This guys are hungry ,think about it they all where not good enougth in there last team. Chip on shoulder and a lot to prove

  7. You never really know as a real charger fan that grew up in San Diego was born in San Diego was a charger fan or whole lives Jim harbaugh has already exceeded our expectations got to remember there's a saying called on any given Sunday and that's the key she can happen you don't know but we need a few key pieces a few guys to stop getting hurt all the time

  8. I think the biggest limitation of the Chargers is the OC. We started off the year trying to be a "Run first" team. We have losses because we failed to do that. So far he has called half of ONE game really well. Those long developing plays with a known shotty interior oline is killing drives. Then, he calls another long play to try to overcome the loss of yards and down. The lack of screens and quick passes to help out the oline don't exist. Maybe even roll out Herbert so he can take off as soon as he sees nobody is getting open. Herbert has to have a perfect game to keep it close. No run game. No solid pass protection. Palmer may not be on the team next year. I bet Coach already has ideas on who we need. With the 2 rookie corners playing solid we not even keep ASJ. We definitely need a third CB. Fulton seems to be the guy that always has TD's thrown on him.

  9. Obviously the likelihood of the Ravens is not the ideal first round game instead of Pittsburg. But this is a team the Bolts played even for the first 3 quarters — albeit a home game.
What if — and it's a huge WHAT IF — all the stars/starters are healthy at the same time?
    TO WIT:
Herbert, McConkey, Dissly, Edwards, Alt, Slater, Bosa, Henley, Mack, Perryman, Tuipulotu and James.

  10. The Chargers have to hope that they can leapfrog over the Steelers into the number 5 seed and play the Texans. At 6, they would almost certainly play the Ravens in the Wild Card round. They already lost this year to the Ravens at home, and it wasn’t really as close as the final score indicated. This time, it would be on the road. No way they survive that. The Texans, based on their dismal performance yesterday against those same Ravens, and victims of key late-season injuries, appear to be low-hanging fruit.

  11. Funny , Nothing matters to you?
If it doesn't line with yo narratives
Even QB's win , loss record,
You prefer pretty L's over ugly wins . When it's convenient

  12. Chargers fan here, can’t help but feel like we’ve been hanging on by a thread since JK went out. He hid a lot of our problems with the offensive line. We have one real receiver who’s less than 6 feet tall, Herbert is legit choosing to run the football himself with a busted ankle rather than throw it to a wide open QJ. Besides those two, he’s throwing the football to defensive players turned into offense. Like cmon now. Besides a few good runs, we cannot consistently run the football at all. Defense is solid but you can’t ask them to win every game, that’s impossible. Interior offensive line is very offensive. All you have to do is rush up the middle for a free sack.

We’re leaking out wins, but it doesn’t feel definitive.
