  1. Kubiak was the only coach we ever had who was smart enough to build a strong o-line. All the best receivers & running backs don’t mean shit if there’s no blocking.

  2. The only qb on this list who could maneuver a pocket is Bryce Young. This stat is about the qbs just as much as it is the olines. Carr for example would only throw when a receiver was wide open and held onto the ball forever

  3. This post made me go look at the drafts from 2003-2005 and I was stunned at how few OL were even available those drafts. Until 05 where we drafts Travis Johnson over Alex Barron there wasn’t really any obvious “woulda shoulda couldas” and we were far more successful than I remember. Also holy shit that was 20 years ago, I’m old.

  4. Honestly, I remember these problems with Schaub/Case/Yates all of them. Our line was alright with Dwayne Brown, but that’s the only time I remember having a GOOD OLine.
