We got a projection of an 8 year window to catch a ring, what do yall think?

  1. 2-3 years. Not saying that’s “likely”, but I do think it’s possible. Very excited to see Adam’s FA moves and drafting this year (2025) and next.

  2. I think DQ/JD year 2 we will be a definite playoff team, year 3 we will be a conference contender, year 4+ we could be a Super Bowl team

  3. I don’t wanna compare the RG3 situation to JD buuuuut…

We had sunk 3 1sts and a 2nd on RG3, we were also facing that bull collusion nonsense on the “salary capless year”, AND regardless of what we all think there was 100% a QB controversy with the coaches and ownership

  4. Just hoping Jayden doesn’t have a sophomore slump next year like Cj stroud is having. Don’t think he will but anything is possible. But if he doesn’t, I think we’re much closer to contending, especially after the season we had this year with a mediocre roster.

  5. consistency of personnel is the key. get good players and keep them (I know this is very difficult) same with coaching staff. Tough to do when you’re playing competitively, but possible. 5 years is my prediction.

  6. The great thing about Bleacher Report predictions is that nobody would bother spending five minutes checking their past predictions.

  7. They wish it was only 8. It took me some years, but I think bleacher report is a little bit garbage. Sometimes I pan through one, but I can’t help but get the feeling, while reading many articles that include the Commanders, that they were written by Eagles, Cowboys, and Giants fans. I think we have longer than 8 years.

  8. Something that worries me is DQ’s IQ in down to the wire decisions. That timeout before the field goal was a terrible decision and it almost cost us the game.

    What do others think?

    Time will tell 🤞

  9. People love to point out our cap space and say invest in the OL like it’s an easy thing… the FA market is gonna be rough. Especially at CB; so I’m glad we traded for Lattimore.

We need to trade picks for great players, and find good players on budget deals.

  10. The front office is good, coaching good, and our defense and o-line has impressed me this year.

Playoffs is where we can properly project the future. JD already plays calm in big moments which is a great sign. Let’s see if the playoff atmosphere isn’t too much for him.

Win or lose how JD finishes in the playoffs
Is the indicator that separates a Super Bowl champion from just a good pro bowl QB who is constantly out by the 2nd round.

FYI I think he is the truth. 1-2 rings barring injury.

  11. It’s possible. Just hope we keep building O-line and WR. Don’t want to repeat what the Texans are doing this year.
