[Rapoport] One note that should have been clear: Deshaun Watson’s fully guaranteed sum of $92M over the next two years remains unchanged. He has not given up any guaranteed money. The alterations affect the salary cap, not cash.

Really didn’t need clarification that the slimy sex creep wasn’t leaving a penny on the table.
Fuck that piece of shit
no fucking shit, rap…
Said it in another thread, but in case anybody was still wondering: the reporting coming out, with inaccurate terminology, is obviously coming from Watson’s agent. They don’t want it known that Watson got leveraged into giving the Browns a future out in the contract. I’d wager clearer terms of the deal come out in the coming days from the Browns side.
Can’t wait till this POS is out of the league. Dude could have at least tried to change his image like Winston did but dudes a grade A POS
God I hate Deshaun so much, give me Baker all day
Disgusting.
Just another obligatory “Fuck you” to everyone that wanted to move on from Baker. Be careful what you wish for.
All the dumb shits that celebrated because they were happy to have an adult in the room:
They wasted Myles and Chubb’s prime on a sexual predator that instantly made everyone hate the Browns. Congratulations.
Omg it’s almost like fully guaranteed money is fully guaranteed.
I want off this ride
no shit
Of course he isn’t giving up any money 🙄
>Sources say Cleveland, as some teams do for big-money deals across the league, has insured Watson’s contract, which allows it to get salary cap credit (relief) for the time he’s missed over the past two years because of injury.
This is an interesting comment in the article. Do we get 1/2 of the $1.2M of his base salary or the $46M he’s paid added back to our cap?
