Tigers pursuit of third baseman Alex Bregman continues with strong interest as market narrows

He’s not gonna get a better offer than the 156/6 we offered, is he?

Hmm, I would think something close to what Willy Adames got. My best guess would be 6-7 years at an AAV of 26-28 million. My prediction is he’ll go to the tigers, Mets or Red Sox.
This is the right call. I can totally see fast decline from here. It will be just like springer.
I like the Tigers, I like Hinch. This wouldn’t be the most painful thing to see.
Unless Paredes can play the outfield that offer is gone. Besides part of the reason Tucker is gone we got something for him and we can noe see what we have in Jacob Melton
If he goes to that stadium he may never hit 20 home runs in a season again.
In that stadium I do feel a decline coming, especially with how much of a slow starter Bregman routinely is. off topic but I really think we should be working on a deal with Jason Heyward
I personally wouldn’t want to give him more than 3 years. I wonder if he just re signs.
