  1. That’s Zorgon 8 the blotslinger. The pic was taken when the Space Browns visited from the horsehead nebula for some intergalactic teamwork helping the earth Browns win the trophy and the whole galaxy was orange and brown again.

  2. That’s Donald Thomas. He is a Clevelander (CWR) that flew a Browns flag on a shuttle mission in 1997 when the Browns didn’t even exist

  3. in 1997, NASA astronaut Donald Thomas showcased his support for the Cleveland Browns by posing for a photograph with a Browns flag behind him, while holding a Browns helmet and wearing a Browns patch on his spacesuit. This display of team pride occurred during a period when the Browns were not active in the NFL, as the original team had relocated to Baltimore in 1996, becoming the Ravens, and the new Browns franchise was not established until 1999. Thomas’s gesture highlights the enduring loyalty of Browns fans, even during challenging times for the team.

the Space Browns song was written and performed a few years later by two gents that met in high school in Canton Ohio and went on to study astrophysics at Ohio University together..

the astrophysics part is BS but the rest is true.. lol.

  4. Pretty sure when they make a movie about this guy, he will be played by Matthew McConaughey.

  5. It’s a season ticket holder. He chose to undergo years of difficult training and extreme risk, so he could be shot into space instead of watching Browns games.

  6. Crossposted to r/spacebrowns because it’s always a good day when the Space Browns are mentioned. 🙂

  7. I dunno but we’ve never been to “space” we live in a dome and the earth is flat
