The Broncos are 8-point FAVORITES against the Chiefs in Week 18 with Kansas City expected to sit many of their starters. The oddsmakers believe the Broncos will beat KC and make the playoffs.

  1. Well. We either win and are in the playoffs or we lose and FORSURE didn’t deserve the last spot.

  2. I always bet on the Broncos to cover immediately when the line is posted. They posted the lines last night for week 18 and I seriously considered waiting to see if it would go down from Broncos -8.5 on my app. But no, a real Broncos fan believes they will cover no matter the spread—and win if the line is greater than zero. (edit: just checked and the line on that game has moved to Broncos -10 in the last 14 hours…)

  3. I will 100%, unequivocally take squeaking into the playoffs as a 10 win team. Are you kidding me? Never would’ve thought that beginning of this year. Having said that, let’s please get this done. Don’t fuck it at the goal line.

  4. Not as chipper about this playoff scenario as I was three weeks ago. Let’s fast forward to next season….

  5. I mean bo did shred 2nd and 3rd team defenses in preseason. (I know the defense is also much more vanilla) but still

  6. I’m telling you. It’s going to be glorious! It’s us:

    1) beating the chiefs!

    2) getting back into the actual playoffs!

    3) at home!

    4) with our new rookie qb!

  7. It’s a shame that we have to fight for our playoff lives this game.

It wasn’t that long ago Patrick Mahomes was the backup quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, getting his first career start against the Denver Broncos. He talks about how that game built his confidence and helped set his up his whole career.

Imagine Bo notching his first win against a much better Kansas City squad with a much worse quarterback.

We absolutely have to have this game, and I’d be surprised if the Chiefs made it easy on us

I’m confident Andy Reid wants a 16 win season. Their backups are gonna give us all they have to keep us out of the playoffs, if nothing else for fear of actually facing us in the playoffs.

  8. I hope they don’t screw this up like the 2008 season. They needed one win out of the three games left to get into the playoffs.

  9. Am I the only person whose nervous about this? Maybe after seeing prior sure wins turn into colossal upsets.

Not as colossal of an upset, but does anyone remember the 2011 win and get in KC game? The Orton revenge game..

Carson Wentz has stinker games but he’s capable of playing well. Backup receivers probably includes Juju.

I think they take the game seriously and win but it’s not a given.

  10. I went into the season with no expectations other than letting the QB play without pressure and learn for a year no matter what.

Now we have meaningful football back in Denver and playoffs are looking like a coin-flip possibility. So even if we don’t make it in I’m more than happy with the season we’ve ended up having.

For the first time in a long time it’s been fun to watch the games.

  11. I think people need to take a step back and realize, at this current moment, how much we have exceeded expectations this season. We were projected to be one of, if not the worst, team in the league. We’re currently flirting with the playoffs. Even if we miss the playoffs, this season has been an overwhelming success, and we should be proud of the Broncos for the first time since 2015.

  12. Just think if we made that field goal we would be going for the KC sweep. Tell anyone at the beginning of this season the broncos would sweep kc and make the playoffs and they call you nuts.
