1. They need to overhaul the entire defense, coordinator too.

2. I would buy the injuries argument if we didn't have Aaron Glenn up in Detroit coaching an opportunistic defense with career backups. They give up a lot of yards but still do enough to help the Lions to a 14-2 record. We've only had occasional moments of opportunism, like the Cardinals win this season, but they've been too few and far between to justify Evero's coaching.

4. I think Evero should be allowed to walk if that's his intent. He didn't appear to want to be with the Panthers in '24, I would suspect in part because most of the impact players on the previous year's defense were either let go or traded prior to this past off-season. No doubt there are some things the DC himself could've done differently this year that might've improved the overall performance of the unit. But no defense gives up the run yardage and points the Panthers have in '24 unless there was an obvious culprit – lack of physical talent on that side of the ball.

   So, I don't blame Ejiro Evero. But I do think it counterproductive to make the guy remain with the team if he's not happy. Robert Saleh and others are out there looking for a chance to coach this team's defense; there are other fish in the sea, and I still maintain it would be best for everyone involved if Evero was allowed to leave.

6. I think he should get one more year. We have good draft position and are in a good spot on the offense, except at the receiving role. So let's give some love to the D in the draft and see how we do next year.

7. I say keep him… give the man a chance to not have so much patchwork to do. Ever since our new owner we been too quick make moves without fair chance given. Get the right free agents, make good picks, get healthy 1st. Overall just chill for now

8. Im not a complete fan of the injury excuse because of the players we had last year, yet the run defense still sucked. What's been bugging me the most in regard to this season is the defense play calling on 3rd and longs and not finding ways to battle the run constantly.

9. I’ll say this much. Any run of the mill DC can look great with Elite defensive players. It’s your ability to develop and find quality defensive starters that make you a truly great DC. Steve Spagnuolo is the standard as far as great DCs are considered. He hasn’t had a defensive draftee in the top 20 in Idk how long and has had a top 10 defense for the last 5 seasons. 10. Cut the crap!! It’s only two MAJOR injuries!! EVERYONE deals with injuries during the season. We only missed two players consistently. He has to go (I’m sorry three if you wanna consider how long it took for Wanuum to come back)

17. TBH, I hope the Panthers bring him back. Downgrades and injuries, and like you mentioned about the players not playing well together who are on the field; it's not on him.

18. Injuries happen in the NFL That's just part of it. Detroit has a ton of defensive injuries as well but they're not nearly as bad as the Panthers.

    Dan Morgan isn't any better than Scott F at drafting

    A Wr who's a body catcher. Passes past 5 yards, and he either drops, wrong route etc

    A running back who was coming off a ACL injury. Passing on Cooper DeJean, Z Newton etc

    A linebacker with no instincts whatsoever in Wallace.
