The Spurs exaggerated, they're mistreating the Clippers, they were pissed off tonight …Castle has a unique game, as in classic soccer, he makes body feints, which leave the opponent on the spot, with sufficient speed, and above all one or more body feints. No other player does this type of feint, or at least we don't know of any.
Wembyyyyyyyyyyyy
anyone wants to volunteer on translating the french part? 😅
anyway Happy New Year everyone 🎉
French translation??
2026 mvp and could even win it this year depending on the situation
it’s actually crazy how the spurs keep getting players with the perfect attitude. truly one of the goat organizations in American sports history.
Unstoppable!
Love how he payed on this game. Inside out instead of outside in!!
The French section of the interview:
Q: What can we wish you for 2025 now that 2024 is ending?
Wemby: Above all happiness, of course, good health and the playoffs.
Q: You have the highest block on fouls ratio in the league, can we go back on that, do you work on blocks during practice? Can you elaborate on how you work on making your blocks clean?
Wemby: To not make fouls, I think, is really a mental exercise, and there’s a lot of different types of players, some always make fouls, some never do. For the blocks, yes I work on that during practice, of course. For example, after the summer breaks, when I’m not in top shape, it’s hard to make blocks, even during practice. It is sometimes frustrating, but it’s a true mental exercise to try to make that block, especially during moments when you think it is impossible to block that shoot, but for me, you have to surpass that. The blocks are mental work.
Q: I’m doing a portrait of Bryan George, who you knew at Nanterre, Asvel, and the French team. How do you see his evolution over the years?
Wemby: I actually knew him a few months before he joined Nanterre. I’m not surprised to see him where he is now (assistant coach for the Atlanta Hawks), I am extremely pride because he is someone I saw growing as a coach and assistant, and who saw me grow as a player. I’m really not surprised to see him here, and I’m really pride because I know how much he wants to reach his goals and to what extent he gives himself the means to do so.
Q: We just talked a little with Nico (Nicolas Batum) with his role in the Clippers as a big brother, does he also have a similar role with other french players in the NBA and the french team?
Wemby: In the French team, yes of course. In the NBA, I personally have a good relationship with Nico, but I don’t know if he communicates with others [french players]. But he is always ready to give advice, and he always gives good advice.
