  1. Celibrini missed a bunch of games at the beginning, so I think he will have the most stats and win the Calder…he's point per game as of now !!…especially him being on one of the worst teams in the league ! ….Hutson needs to pick up them points, and at least be ahead by 10 points to win it !!!…All Heineman needs is a 3 point night to put him in 4th for rookie stats…wow….but Lane's killing it and seems to get better every game , especially when we win !!

  2. I can’t believe this trade talk about Evans… why trade away a player that was developed by the habs and has become the type of player that Every team wants and NEEDS… ridiculous to trade him… no guarantee another prospect would fill his shoes

  3. You always forget that Hutson was put on PP1 when Laine came back from injury. Those 2 moves made the difference. Before Laine played his 1st game Hutson was 2nd PP and 2nd pair.

  4. A rebuild takes time. It also takes important milestones. We may be seeing one take shape. It's still a bit early. Team and fans need to embrace these stretches, but it is still a long road. Stay patient.

  5. We absolutely need to sign Jake Evans! I’ve been saying it for weeks and the more we wait, the higher the price will be.

I was at 4 millions per seasons for 6 years one month ago and now I’m at 5 millions for 6. We don’t need prospects and picks, we have enough!

  6. Dvorak I think will be the man on his way out . Not Evans . Owen Beck will be brought up next year too replace him . Jake Evans and Owen Beck will be your #3 and #4 centers for the foreseeable future. Shutdown ,finesse , Spark plugs ,smart sense 🏒 players.

  7. Obviously the team is exceeding expectations and their play is bound to level out somewhat but still it appears they have taken " that next step " and in my opinion it all revolves around the relentless forecheck they are playing .

  8. Not mentioned: the effect of good health. The team was decimated with injuries the last few years. Let's hope it keeps up. 14 games in January is going to be a challenge…

  9. Celebrini is 82 place in forward scoring
Michkov is 63 place in forward scoring
Lane Hutson is 14 place in defenseman scoring that's why he's my pick for rookie of the year

  10. Enjoy it while we have it because I see our 4th line blown away if we are not able to keep Evans & Armia together? There was a time when the Habs wanted/needed to move Armia but he is worth keeping as he is playing great hockey for us & his big frame makes him difficult to play against. You never know what you get in drafting but we do know what we have in both those players & we can get this for a few more years from them.

  11. The biggest differences are the improvement in their self-belief and also their pride is no longer collecting splinters sitting on the bench. That come from behind victory against Las Vegas shows that self-belief and pride both played a huge part in the comeback win.

  12. There is absolutely no report of Evans asking for 4mill. People are assuming that he would want four mill+ because he is playing good. Would you rather want him to play bad? He is 28 years old and this is when most bottom six find their most effective and complete game. He is not a 4th line C because he plays middle six minutes and can cover top six opposition. He is also better than Dvo and Newhook. He is one of our best PK. And by the time a player like Beck finds their game.. the average 3C would cost even more so why not keep Evans until we have a guaranteed replacement. The AAV is not the problem, the leangth of the term is the issue. Also, his linemates are playing amazing around him.
