Saquon is that BF who does not turn his head

  1. Sirianni is a bitch for that imo. Let the man have the record, and let it serve as a reminder to the giants that they fucked up (I know resting him is the smart idea but fuck nick sirianni)

  2. Sirianni is missing a huge opportunity. The psychic damage he could inflict on the Giants by having Saquon break this record against them of all teams would shatter that organization and its fanbase for years

  3. Edit: My opinion has been changed.

~~I know we’re getting into 61* territory, but it would feel hallow to break it in 17 games when he set the record in 16. I’d still take it though.~~

  4. You go for the record. It means something to players. I imagine Barkley and the entire offensive line would love to go for it. The 2009 Colts rested their starters rather than going 16-0 and it divided the locker room and possibly killed morale to the point that they underperformed in the super bowl.

There’s no guarantee you even make the super bowl, yet alone win it, as Siriani already knows. But 2105 has stood for over 4 decades. They don’t even need to start the whole team. Let the defense rest. Heck, let the entire 1st team other than the offensive line and Barkley rest.

  5. Still a long shot for the Eagles to win the SB but if Saquon goes down record chasing in a meaningless game that would be terrible

  6. Had he beat it last week there would no need for an asterisk. He did good this season but he also isn’t getting an extra game to beat the old record. Cry Eagles Cry
