Honestly, after the first two games of this season, I was out on Bryce, but since he has returned, he’s changed and looking at these stats, I have realized that he is the franchise QB and we all owe an apology to him. These numbers would have him in the top 5-8 QBs in the NFL this year, almost identical to Josh Allen (minus the rush TDs) so.. this makes me happy.
Happy new year to everyone. Keep Pounding

He threw at least 1 TD in every single game since returning, after throwing for 0 in the first two games. If nothing else, that’s pretty damn impressive
give him a true WR1 and re-establish our run game next year with Chuba/RB2.. and we will see some incredible stats.
edit; removing the extra b from Chuba so the nerds can focus on the actual topic at hand
Is that really only 85.3? That’s a fantastic number compared to what he was, but it’s just barely OK in today’s league. Those stats look like they’d equate to a higher passer rating.
Really Thielen a Chuba right now. May have to Hunt my own Horn later.
Most of us are well aware how insane the comeback was.
Has there ever been a QB to come back after being benched in the same season for the same team like we’ve seen with Bryce?
I needed this. It helps put the whole season in perspective when you have numbers like this. Imagine if we didn’t have the worst defense in NFL history (look at pts allowed in a season, we’re close) and our #1 WR wasn’t 35 years old.
Get this man a true number #1 and he’s busting those numbers.
D needs work, and tho he has looked decent since the benching, I’m not convinced he’s the second coming of Christ yet. Hopefully the offensive coaches can keep this momentum going into next season, add some pieces, and go defense heavy in the draft. We don’t need to sell our souls for a WR1 yet
I’m not sure where those stats in OP are from

Still solid, but I couldn’t find a split that matched the OP lol. I think someone divided by the wrong number of games or something
It’s actually
3500 yards
23 TDs
11 INTs
84.7 rating
I really hope we draft T Mac
When you put it in this context it is absolutely wild. I have never been happier to be completely and entirely wrong with a sports take. I was so convinced this kid was cooked and I was one of his biggest haters.
I will happily put on clown makeup for every game next season if it means we win the NFC South
To be fair to Theilen and Coker…neither deserved the implied slander of this tweet.
Theilen is that dude and does all the receiver things at a near elite level outside of speed, and Coker should have been a mid round pick minimum.
I bet Bryce appreciates what they bring, and recognizes both as helpful to his improvement.
If you take away the Dallas game (which I know isn’t fair but for fun) it’s pushing towards elite
We didn’t score a touchdown with him under center in four out of five games to end last season & I’m pretty sure he didn’t throw for a touchdown in more of them. What he is doing now is an incredible turnaround, especially when you factor in how bad he looked at the start of the year. I’m not sure if any other QB’s done this before.
