  1. It’s so easy for us to say cliff isn’t head coach material and he should just stay an OC like come on anyone commenting saying cliff should just stay an OC could be right and cliff maybe should just be an OC but let’s not act like if we were in cliffs shoes we would ever turn down a job there is only 32 of in the world like stop it and I’m a die hard washing redskins fan !

  2. He almost certainly won't be going anywhere until 2028. He is getting HC money thru 2027 and he really needs to build relationships with some defensive coaches first.

  3. Not every innovative OC can lead a group of men/young men. As an OC he can focus on solely offense and not the managerial side that comes with being HC.

  4. Come on people this is simply a PR response. His situation in DC is golden so why f it up taking a job with a team that has front office issues.

  5. Bears job! As head coach of Bears, do most of the OC job and hire an assistant to take care of the clock management or other things.

  6. I think Kliff understands that all jobs are not equal…the wrong owner and not having a quarterback the head coach is set up to fail.

  7. Hiring a former Cordinator as head coach is proving to be risky especially for teams starved of success for a long time. NFL executives are just not smart enough..I am really shocked when I see a majority of NFL teams operating without succession planing to ensure continuity
